Perimeter Retaining Works and Ground Anchoring in Full Progress

Work is now fully concentrated on the geotechnical scope that secures the excavation perimeter and enables the safe continuation of bulk excavation. This is a foundational stage of the project, creating the stability framework that allows the permanent underground structure to be built under controlled conditions.

Across the site, the Berlin-type retaining system ("Berlim") is being executed in a phased, methodical sequence. Each section is progressed with careful coordination between excavation, reinforcement and formwork preparation, concreting, and subsequent stabilization measures. In parallel, ground anchors are being installed to reinforce soil retention and ensure the required performance of the perimeter containment.

To maintain control and confirm stability behaviour as excavation advances, the works are supported by observation and monitoring practices consistent with best geotechnical execution standards. This approach provides confidence in performance and supports safe, uninterrupted progress.

During this reporting period, LOTE40 LDA has already closed out a substantial portion of the current workfront, and works continue without interruption. The project remains aligned with the programme and the planned sequence of activities.
